Imo one of the best affordable accommodation option for solo female travelers in Seoul
Stayed here for the second half of my 3 weeks trip in Seoul. First, the location is just perfect to safely go home at anytime of the night if you want to experience the vibrant night life of Hongdae. The residence is situated on the 2nd floor of a building that has no elevator but it’s such an affordable and safe accommodation option that it’s just a detail you can overlook. The rooms are small but you get to leave your luggage in the corridor as it has an operational cctv. The residence is for female only and the kitchen is large and has all the essentials for you to prepare your meals. The tenant is also very kind and she allows early check in if you ask her. All in all it’s a very very good choice for a place to stay near one of the most convenient metro station of Seoul and for enjoying all the activities Hongdae has to offer and for shopping at affordable prices!
The shared bathroom was quite dark but clean and I did not find it particularly difficult to share it with other residents. The walls are thin and you can hear almost everything that’s going on but thankfully I don’t have much difficulty sleeping with noise around me. But bear in mind that some residents can talk very loud or pack their bags until 3 in the morning, but that’s what you get with the price you pay.

The room is small but clean and comfortable.
The corridor is filled with residents' suitcases or clothes drying racks, which is not only untidy but also unsafe in an emergency.
